Shallow End of the Gene Pool

Today's tour to the Grand Canyon included a spectacular view of God's occasional plan to thin the herd. We weren't aware of any accident occurring from this behavior, but it was too thrilling to avoid taking this picture at Grandview Point.

The book, "Over the Edge: Death in Grand Canyon" continues to be a bestseller. I own a copy, and

can only assume lots of other people are fascinated with the topic. The book is written by the doctor at Grand Canyon Hospital, and is updated regularly with the new stories.

It's a good read, but takes a while to get used to the riveting stories without an uplifting ending. The authors are great storytellers.
